make it sunny side up

BSF6075I’m usually pretty good about listening to my body, but sometimes I shut it out. Silly me! I’d been eating a lot of pasta, tomato, and spinat lately (delicious and healthy, I know), but it just wasn’t satisfying me, so I knew something was off.
This morning, I woke up to my body screaming, “Chickpeas!… Sweet potatoes!… Eggs!” (Or maybe, I was finally listening.)
And boy, did it hit the spot.
Add some cumin, chilli powder, leinsaat (flax meal), and our new favourite secret-tahini-ketchup sauce, and breakfast put me right again.

I love food.
